short and brutal
One thing I have learned from my time at crossfit is that “as many reps as possible” is one of the evilest phrases in the english language.
Warm up: 800m run + 10 push ups + 40 squats of varying kinds
Part A: 6 min AMRAP
100m dash/10 jumping pull ups/10 kb swings
~5 min rest, then…
Part B: 6 min AMRAP
60 jump rope/10 sit-up
Part A, I got 4 rounds + 100m dash, all with the yellow KB. Part B, I got 4 rounds plus 60 jump rope plus one sit-up.
All in all. A good show for me, yay. We seem to be on an “easy” round of workouts. I notice that they cycle the intensity up and down with slow periodicity, but I am not sure if we are on low swing because of that or because of the crossfit games that some people are doing extra work for.
